The popular Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Light Client Badger Wallet has released its open beta version for iOS. Now, Apple users can download the wallet to store, send and receive BCHs, and they have the ability to do so in a noncustodial fashion with Simple Ledger Protocol (SLP) tokens.
“Badger Wallet” for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) launched on iOS
In recent months, the noncustodial Badger Wallet has become one of the most versatile customers in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem. The Wallet not only allows people to securely store Bitcoin cash, but also stores SLP-based tokens built on the BCH chain. The application is very similar to the Ethereum-based Metamask Wallet as it also serves as a gateway to a variety of other BCH platforms. For example, Badger seamlessly connects to applications such as Sideshift.io and the popular Satoshi Dice website. The Badger Light Client, which was originally developed for Chrome and Firefox, works as a browser wallet and there is also the Android version. Now Apple users can take advantage of Badger.Badger translated several of the functionalities from the desktop versions directly to the phone, such as to keep everything on-chain as well as full customer control and support via their Bitcoin-Cash or SLP-Token.
In addition, Badger retained the ability to transfer small sums of money between wallets. A test user wrote: “I …. have sent me a nickel, because it is not possible to send so little Satoshis in other networks. “Tokens can be shipped immediately worldwide for about 0.002 US dollars, according to a post-Reddit post-announcement.Previous users of the service will be able to restore their existing Badger wallets using their 12-word seed phrase. The new app will automatically register their funds from their existing accounts. The open source beta version is available on the App Store as an application for iPhones, iPads and the iPod Touch with iOS 9 or higher.
